Summer Program

Summer Program

FunSummer

It is with heavy hearts that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thunder Bay will remain closed for programming during the summer. The restrictions put out for Summer Day Camp operations will not allow us to deliver an enjoyable program for the members that they have come to expect and deserve. We will continue to monitor the situation and government guidelines to see if things will change for the month of August.
We are going to focus all of our attention onto running effective programs in September with our After School Program.
Our core staff will do occasional special events for our members outside in the summer. We will post any events or online activities regularly on our social media sites. We do miss the members and hope to have weekly contact.
This decision, made by our Board of Directors, was not easy to make and was based on feedback from parents, the local health unit as well as the restrictions put forth by the Government.
Thank you for your understanding during this most difficult time. We strive to keep the safety of our members and staff at the forefront of what we do.
For the families that have a credit and you were saving it for the Summer Program, please contact Lee-Ann at laskirving@tbaytel.net or 623-0354 x 111 to arrange for a refund.
