To attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thunder Bay After school programs between the hours of 2:45 – 5:30 children must be in JK - Grade 12.
Monday - Friday - After School Program 2:45-5:30, Evening Program 6:30-8:00pm Monday-Thursday Friday until 6
Each day after school a healthy snack is offered to the students who come to use the center.
Homework Help is available everyday after school. We ask the members if they have homework but we do not make the children do it. If you want your child doing their homework please remind the members to ask us for help.
A chance to hang out with just the girls. We will be getting together to do activities that are fun and relate to the things we face as we grow up, including healthy eating, body image & self esteem.
A chance to hang out with the guys. We will learn fair play, and hopefully gain some self confidence as we participate in activities together.
Learn easy, fun, new recipes you can create with what's in your cupboards when the stomach is grumbling! This program will be run twice once for our jk- grade 3 members and once for grade 4 to 8 members.
Healthy Eating and Active Living - This program is in partnership with Anishnawbe Mushkiki. Participants learn how to prepare simple meals and learn about the value of eating well. This program will be taking place every other Wednesday beginning in October.
Every other Wednesday beginning in October a few of the Youth Outreach Workers from Dilico will be coming to Vale. They usually bring us some fun activities and they always make us a yummy snack.
This program is specifically designed to get our youngest members active. They will be learning many new games and activities as well as playing some old favourites.
Here is a chance to spend some time outside, play some games and maybe go explore a new environment.
Each week we will have a new arts and crafts project planned. So bring your creativity each Monday and see what you can make.
